Have you ever been stuck in a rut when you were driving? It can be incredibly difficult to get out of it. Often times the harder you try to get out of it the more stuck you become. Sometimes you can manage to work yourself out of it, but it’s a lot easier if you have someone to help. Just one other person helping to push you out or pull you out can make all the difference. Welcome to Stuck in Your Rut!
That’s what Stuck in Your Rut is all about.
I want to help pull you and push you into the life that you have been dreaming of. If we are being honest there are always things that we need to work on in life, areas where we feel stuck in a rut. Maybe you can identify with one of these statements:
- You desperately want to quit your job and stay home with your children, but you need the income and you feel stuck.
- When Monday rolls around again the thought of going to work makes you want to pull the covers over your head.
- You know that you need to make changes to live a healthier life but every time you try you quickly become unmotivated and discouraged
- Your marriage leaves a lot to be desired and you aren’t sure what to do.
- You feel like life is quickly passing you by and you aren’t accomplishing the things that you want to do.
- Your entire life feels like it has fallen apart. You have reached rock bottom, feel all alone and just need someone to help you turn it all around.
There are too many women living ho-hum lives where they spend too much time comparing themselves to others and feeling like they could never: do that, be that, look like that. Stuck in Your Rut is to help you step out of the rut and into the amazing plan that God has for your life. It’s a place for motivation, encouragement, and accountability. Stop feeling stuck and start asking yourself “Why not me?” If others can, you can too. Find your dream, create and achieve your goals, and start living a full life. We are going to fight against fear and complacency to discover your place in this world. It’s time for you to own (and LOVE) your role. Are you ready?
A little about Stephanie
Does that all sound great, but leave you wondering who I am? I get that because I would feel the same way. If you are looking for a long list of letters after my name that “qualify” me to write this site you won’t find it. I’m not a psychologist, a business expert, a certified life coach. But, what I am is a woman that has been through a lot and learned the hard way. I’m not claiming to be an “expert”. In fact, it’s just the opposite.
Back in 2010, my life fell apart. My marriage crumbled. I pushed everyone away. A lot of issues exposed themselves in my life and the life of my family. Saying it was a rough time in my life would be an understatement. I would like to say that I handled it with dignity and grace, but that would be a lie—I fell apart. I wasn’t the wife I wanted to be, the mother I wanted to be, the daughter, friend, or anything else that I wanted to be.
The worst part was I realized that the person I had portrayed that I was for years, wasn’t really who I was. I was a mess. I was depressed and my “issues” and situations consumed every part of my life. It didn’t matter what else was going on around me because I was buried deep.
The only way out was up. I spent months doing nothing but working on figuring out who I was and who I wanted to be. I researched, read, and studied the Bible and all kinds of other teachings like never before. And, with God’s help, I learned how to turn myself around. I learned how to become the person I wanted to be. It wasn’t easy, but it was SO worth the effort.
The bottom line is…
I’m still not perfect, far from it actually. But, I would love to let others learn from my experience. I would love for Stuck in Your Rut to be a place a woman can turn when she is up at 2:00 am and feels all alone. I would love to be a small part of helping you discover who God designed you to be. To help you learn to live a life that you love! I’m not a coach that is going to tell you what to do, but a friend that wants to motivate and encourage you along the way.
Thanks for stopping by!
